Found out my Dad has cancer yesterday, he is about to turn 70 ... they caught it early ... looking promising, but obviously the treatments are nothing to look forward to. He lives in San Diego, so I will be commuting back and forth from there.

This morning, my Mother in Law .. who has Parkinsons, fell ... I drove over to help and pick her up. Turns out she has a broken hip, surgery tomorrow. She has other health issues besides that, so anything with general anesthesia is a pretty big risk .. but no real option.

Getting old sucks

The hip surgery went well today ... it will be a tough recovery, but that is looking promising as of now. Will find out more about my Dad tomorrow afternoon. Mentally, I am just worn out . which I guess sitting in a hospital for 12 hours will do to you ... and really not being in control of anything and not knowing what the next steps are is frustrating to say the least.

Finally some reason for optimism on the aviation front ... work trip postponed a week, aircraft available for several 3hr blocks next week and a long-term forecast involving a high pressure area establishing itself over Scandinavia and staying for a while.

Ok so I need some advice. The C U Next Tuesday I mentioned before who got his friends to threaten me in college is now too scared to pull anything like that again because of the backlash, so he now resorts to psychologically annoying me by laughing at me all the time when I'm near him or shouting stupid rubbish at me

Sometimes he gets the same bus home as me, so I have to stand near him at the bus stop. I couldn't deal with it today, so I walked into the town to get a later bus and was home far later. So I'm asking, what do you think my best course of action should be, should I carry on walking away in situations like that to stop anything from happening, or should I stand my ground, stay and ignore him to try and get the little retard to realise I'm not interested? I'm stuck at what to do and it's infuriatingly annoying and stressful
