Seriously, does all that fibre not upset your stomach? If Weetabix isn't enough, maybe upgrade to something hardcore, like All Bran.
 
So the input jack of my guitar amp was a bit loose. In order to tighten it up, I had to ...

1. Unscrew 14 screws from the back side of the amp and take off the back panel
2. Unscrew 4 more screws from each side of the amp
3. Lift out the unit containing all the electronics (basically everything except the speaker) and locate the loose part
4. Tighten the loose part, which took a few seconds
5. Put electronics module back inside cabinet
6. Fasten the screws that were removed in step 2
7. Put back panel back on and fasten the remaining screws
8. Make a sigh of relief when realizing there are no screws left, so I didn't have to wonder where they were now missing
9. Plug in everything and play the guitar
10. Make another sigh of relief when realizing I have not broken anything and nothing caught fire.

Alternative step 10 in case the input jack is still loose: give up electric guitar and opt for an acoustic.
Sometimes it feels like an electric is more technical difficulties than actual playing. :D
 
I've read that's supposed to be good for your playing somehow. I think it's a hindrance at times, sometimes I think I'm playing really clean, only to plug in and realise it's a noisy mess.

This was my 1000th post. Wish it was something more meaningful. Oh well.

It is, especially if you're playing with overdrive. Unplugged, you hear each note in its bare state, you hear how well it rings out and how your picking affects the sound.

Off topic, but has anyone read this story about the "band" Threatin? It's basically one guy with a few touring musicians, they went on tour without actually having sold any tickets. He lied to the venue owners about many they had sold, had a whole fake fanbase set up to make himself look more legitimate.
