Night Prowler and Black Abyss Babe both used to be anti-alcohol.
I was never "anti-alcohol", I'd just never had any proper opportunity to discover it. But I was starting to feel like I'd been denied my cultural heritage by my puritanical parents, so I sort of created an opportunity :).

After TBOS, DoD is the best 21st century Maiden record. I've come to really love the experimental aspects and it's a highly underrated record. Not a single song dips below 9/10.

It's no more than a 6/10 for me. I don't like the main riff (I think it's very childish), and the vocal melody in the verses is weird. I like the bridge, though, and the chorus itself is also not bad.

I love the riff because it sounds so great after the haunting of Dance of Death, and the chorus is what really makes the song.

So when is The Most Epic Coffee Table Book You Will Ever Own And Likely Never Read Because It's Fucking Huge But The Price Tag Is Insane And It's Taking Years To Assemble It So It's Basically The Finest Of Wines In Book Form by "Maiden Fans Members, Various" being published?
