This weekend I'm doing the last repetitions of various theory topics. Exam Thursday evening and hopefully I'll start to do some actual flying between now and the end of March. The club is awaiting the arrival of a new training aircraft, and when it arrives, only the weather can stop me

Now, there are of course other things that can stop me from actually flying. Instructor availability, sickness, etc. - but I am having a school briefing on Monday where I assume we'll go through the plans for the first batch of practical flight training, the so-called "block A" which introduces all the basic maneuvering of an aircraft.

I played a board game last night called Rising Sun. All the artwork was done by a bloke named Adrian Smith, and I kept getting very confused.

There's an illustrator called Adrian Smith, who's done some stuff for Warhammer, so maybe it was him.
There's also an American politician called Adrian Smith and for reasons I've since forgotten I was reading a piece by him in an online newspaper. At the bottom of the article was a link to "find out more about Adrian Smith" which when clicked led to a selection of articles in the same paper which were all about the Adrian Smith we know best!
