I got an email from Ticketmaster the other day for Glasgow. It was just reiterating that it's paperless & what I need to bring though; no mention of a paper ticket winging it my way. Pretty annoying actually. This will be the first concert I've ever been to where I'll have no paper ephemera to commemorate the occasion.
I'm not sure if this is the same for you, but you might want to check it out. When I log into my Ticketmaster account and hover my mouse over my name in the upper right hand area, I get a pull down menu with an option that says "print my tickets". When I click that, I get a details page and a box on the right that says "see details". When I click that. there's a button in the middle of the screen that says "view tickets" and when I click that, a box pops up and I get 2 options. One says "mobile" and one says "print at home". Hopefully that same option is there for you as well.

There's only the option to print receipts for these shows. A printed ticket isn't something worth putting on a wall anyway. Paperless tickets are, of course, an excellent way to be beat the touts but I miss putting the ticket on my wall after the show. It would be nice if, after the event, we could get sent some sort of commemorative ticket or something like that. I wouldn't mind paying an extra couple of quid for it.

I'm leaving for Dublin today. I think the best thing about seeing a show early in the tour is that I get to know the setlist as soon as possible.

Are the US shows meant to be paperless? I thought it was just something they were doing on UK shows this year.

Had my last free of charge dental appointment today. After three injections of dental anesthesia, I'm feeling purty dizzy.

I've seen for bigger events here that you can pay extra for "collector tickets" through Ticketmaster. Piecce of plastic the size of a credit card that comes on a keyring. Looks like you've got a press pass... Fairly cool idea, if you ask me.

Fantastic. They're calling out the fucking army to Montreal and the Outaouais region for flooding.

If it's 2:35 am. You return home and want topop out the earphones but decide the song is too good to be interrupted and leave them in, what are you listening to?

Sol, sol invictus!
