Short work day tomorrow, then 10 days off

You know how there's always that annoying one or two guys that get full marks in an exam almost the entire class/department failed?

I'm that guy today. :smartarse:

You... you... Hermes! (it doesn't work as well with the male version, though :D ) Congrats! You're a clever chap

Yep, I have my last work day this year tomorrow as well. And then it's only two weeks until my P45. Farewell, Bar! :nana:

Last time that happened to me, the prof instead announced he was grading on a bell curve, and my 97% got reduced to a 79% because there were two perfect marks and my 97 followed by a 51.

Congrats, Flash, that's a nice feeling.

Played a solo on an acoustic in a church today. You really get to know your strengths and weaknesses on guitar when you switch from electric to acoustic. I only play an acoustic about once a year so it's good to tell whether you have improved. Not so much in terms of speed or show-off abilities, which have stayed largely the same over the years, but more so in terms of raw technical ability and getting a good sound out of the instrument.

Bastard. How many students took the test in total btw? I mean, if the sample is small, it's not even right to expect the results to follow a normal distribution, much less forcing them to (by changing the criteria a posteriori)

I want to say there was about 20-22 students in the class. Oh, this was a philosophy class, and it greatly contributed to me not wanting to take any further philosophy classes.
