So I've decided that - apart from French which me and my wife have been trying to learn currently - I will at least try to learn Irish. That language is just so amazing... Just take the names - Saoirse, Siobhan, Oisín, Caoimhe, Tadgh... It's just so beautiful... However, after acquiring various Irish learning books and listening exercises, I start to think there actually is something as "despair" and that any effort is pretty much useless :D Still, I hope it's gonna work out :)

I came to the museum today for a tour that only said "Time: 60 minutes; Language: English; Number: 25; Group: Children under 10 years". By some force of magic, they turned into 23 middle-aged Americans.

I really like American tourists. I've only had the best experiences with them. They are friendly, open-minded, willing to explore and genuinely appreciative of my work. I never get as many smiles and "thank you's" as from Americans and unlike what many people think, it never feels superficial or fake. Today was a prime example, and what I liked even more is that they had no idea what was in the museum they would visit (it was some sort of tourist group with a tight schedule), they were really willing to dive into what I showed and told them.

15 years down the road, the world became more messed up and the strategy to save the world from Islamism led to nobody being safe from it anymore, anywhere.

Yeah, the "war on terror" hasn't exactly paid off in terms of less terrorism ... plus, we got an awful Iced Earth song.

Well, that's what happens when a man who doesn't understand how the world works is in charge of the most powerful nation in the world, declares war for no reason, and destroys a regime without any thought as to the consequences of that action.
