On adaptations of literature. Recently I heard an interview with some movie director who said he rather makes a movie out of a short story than making one out of a (normal) novel. With a short story you can do more with it as a film maker. With a bigger story it's difficult to do it justice.
Did someone tell this to Peter Jackson? @CriedWhenBrucieLeft
I believe that they are for real.@Travis The Dragon what is your opinion on CHEMtrails?

I don't have Hulu and, in any event, I won't watch a James Franco movie unless it's a comedy in which his character gets stoned. But, is the book worth reading?I was just looking for a series to watch. 11.22.63 will do.
I very much agree. For this reason, I'm shocked there aren't more (good) Lovecraft adaptations.
Oh yes, very much so.But, is the book worth reading?

The vast imagery of Lovecraft works might be putting filmmakers off. Hard to capture the chaotic atmosphere and almost unimaginable creatures in his stories.

Head gasket, timing belt...
This could be an expensive repair
Typically the failure of the latter leads to partial destruction of the former, causing a need to replace both ... and perhaps some more? Valves, pistons? Not good.
