I wouldn't say they have monotone rhythms. Maybe on early albums, but later work had lots of changes, like in Maiden. And that's part of what I like about them. And there's this intensity that makes them so special. I like the riffing a lot. And Barney's old grunt is fucking awesome.

With so many other aspects, melody becomes less important to me.

It hit 10 degrees today, sunshine and all. On the other hand, vernal winds are rising. The first half of Autumn is always ridiculously windy.
 
Oops. :oops: I usually have to take a second to differentiate autumn and spring. In addition, I always want to write seasons with capital letters.
 
I am thinking of trying to hit another TBOS date ... cannot make any of the US ones, but have my eye on the show in Poland or Prague. The Poland date is a bit better, but I really like Prague .. only spent a day there once and would like a few more days to hit the city and Breslau (not going to take a stab at spelling it in Polish) is harder/more expensive to get to from the US. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works out ...
 
Problem with Oslo is the date ... I have a project that is wrapping up around that time and as of now it is hard to tell if it will be early or late ... early July also has the benefit of the 4th of July holiday in the US. If I can go, I'll probably know in late April ... I would like to hit Oslo for the meetup ... and I would like to see Ghost :)
 
Okay is a good word for them. I expected them to be nothing but a stage gimmick, which isn't the whole story at all, but I'm not too bothered either way about seeing them again.
