Ya, they've been releasing material and touring like crazy. Sadly, they lost most of their popularity after their guitar player Casey died back in November of 2007.

That could be why i thought they'd ended i suppose, then again i haven't heard anyone mention any Emo band since Myspace died

It'll be ten years since I first saw Maiden for me this year... where did the time go?

As expected, the campus turned into a mayhem after Newroz celebrations today. A student got stabbed. Policemen (wearing gas masks) are everywhere, I saw multiple water cannon vehicles as well.

Screw this shit, I'm going back home.

On a more lighter note, since I'm in mid 30s, I've spent a quarter of my life hanging with a really good bunch of people here.
It's only a testemony to good forum spirit and above all, moderation / administration. There have been several BBS I've participated on for 5+ years, but it ended because of people splitting up or insufficient or just simply wrong moderation. Well, not here.

Looking forward to additional 9/10 years :)

There's always challenges, I think, people, core community members, coming and going.

And let me tell you, Maidenfans was sure different when I joined. Not many regulars from those days...but a few. A few. I think it's a stronger, more intelligent, more able community now than it was back then.
