I'm sorry but what did you expect giving 7 euros to a beggar? Seems like a hyperbolic reaction to me.

He didn't look like a beggar, he looked ordinary, I already said I'll help when realizing I have no subpoena less than 7e. What would you do, say I'll give out, then back off? I had no time or will to escort this dude to supermarket and buy him milk myself.
I'm born and raised in a Mediterranean tourist city, and believe me, I know how to handle beggars. When I opened up my wallet I realized I'm paying out 7e for my piece of mind.

People are barely making it around here, especially the senior ages. I witness the situation getting worst day by day. I will not run background checks next time an old fellow asks me for an euro, nor will I discard my morals because of a 7 euro loss. I had been without cash, and I had people around me pull me up from that hole. Some people do not have the privilege.
