It is a pity. I think I've only heard one song where he sang - Plush (or was it the whole album?), but 48's just way too early.
 
I only ever heard of Scott Weiland because he was a massive drug addict, which makes the early death less of a surprise in my case.
 
I think we did the math (trending) some time ago, 100k goal is expected sometime in 2017?
 
639 posts in November. It'd take 23 months to reach 100k, so yeah, late 2017 by that rate. Though November wasn't a particularly active month in this thread, I think.

If I had to take a guess, I'd say Spring of 2017.
