Light bulb on my desk lamp exploded when I tried to turn on the light. Sparks everywhere. Apart from a scratch on my phone there's no real damage, but my room has no power now <_<
That's some freaky shit! We're going to all LED light bulbs since they last for 20 years. It will be nice to not have to change them.

They are expensive here otherwise I'd make the change too. LED light is much easier on the eye for me.
They're expensive here too, but they're worth it. 1/10th the power consumption.
I'm not sure where you are NP and I know you're in Canada LC, but here in the US, they've really come down in price and can easily be found for under $3 for one bulb. In fact, one place had them on sale for only $1 each.
