I spent yesterday repairing my fence.

My daughter, who just got her learner's license, hit the gas instead the brake while parking the car.
Took out a post and two sections of fencing. Stopped about a foot shy of the house.

My general form is better today than yesterday, but I still do not look forward to gettung up at 5:30 tomorrow to go on a week-long work trip.

Yeah, I've got to get her back behind the wheel soon. I think I helped defuse the situation by laughing my head off and giving her a hug once I saw how lucky we were in terms of what the damage could have been. Won't even need to repair the car.

And she learned some valuable carpentry skills helping me rebuild the fence.
