The Saint was a very old member (as in joining date, not physical age) who was mainly involved with posting news items to the front page of the site before Jon bought it. As I recall, he'd mostly given that up and disappeared by the time Jon came along.

no5 left during my own absence, but I have heard that he was on the edge of being banned for rude behavior towards the ladies.

After hours of cleaning, updating and other efforts, I finally managed to cool off my laptop. Looks like it was a combination of three things: A very dusty cooling fan, lack of airflow in the pockets underneath the laptop and an issue with the battery and charging adapter. The core temperatures with no program running dropped from 50-60 °C to 30-35 °C. Might not sound particularly important but this is a huge relief, it's only been 1 year since I've bought it and I spent a good amount of money on it in a time of economical drought.

I think the word you're looking for is creepy, rather than rude.

Ya, for a secondary forum, this place is quite active. Maiden's official free forum shutting down probably helped to drive some traffic here including me.

A lot of the people over there get away with sexist, racist, homophobic tripe. And their grammar sucks. Maybe they have more people but our community is better.
