I'm going to a comedy club with some friends tonight. I have no idea how this night will go. It could be anywhere from epic to epic disaster.

Regardless, in getting ready for the new year, I'm listening to Bruce's solo stuff for the moment. I feel the need to break from my (mostly) daily listening to classic rock and move more metal. I believe the Operation: Livecrime is going to be next. Say what you will, but that album is possibly my favorite ever-- possibly due to the fact that it was the first metal album that anyone ever bought for me-- xmas gift the year it was released.

Second favorite? AMOLAD-- given to me by my best friend when it came out.

In case I don't come back on today, Happy New Years to everyone here. Here is to hoping that next year is even better than the last. We have seen a lot on this forum over the past year, made some new friends, had some bad times mixed with good, and as metal as it is, its always home.

I hope that 2015>Montenegro for everyone.

Enjoy your pain meds and heal quickly! And yes, New Years is always a letdown if you go out. I'll be having some dinner with family friends and then walking down the block to a house party with the brother's good friends. Hopefully I'll be in bed by 1 AM.
 
I'm getting in Magic: The Gathering for the first time, it's really, really fun. @Perun and @Forostar, (this happened a few days ago) I remember you two talking about a doom metal album based on Moby Dick if I recall correctly. Do either of you two have the name of that album/band?

Might start playing limited soon and going to FNM. I'm solely playing EDH/Commander (Blue) as of right now. My friends have been playing for years and they just recently started playing Commander so I thought I'd join in.

EDIT: Two of my friends went to Chicago during the summer to play in a Magic tournament also. I'd like to do that when I get better at the game and put more time in it.

If I ever get back in, I'll build my Krenko commander deck. All goblins, all the time.
