A story about me purchasing my first Venom LP:

I went into the record store, saw what I was after - Venom Welcome to Hell. I took it to the counter and the guy behind the counter could not read the bands name - "What is this, Demon", he said. "No, it's flippin' Venom - I don't like Demon - Venom kicks their arse*", I spat back at him.





*Actually, you may be surprised to know that I did not use that expression.......and I was a tad more polite. :D

I've yet to have some wine from Alsace. I know of them as I used to (a long, long time ago) work in a wine bar that stocked Alsace wine - but I've never been tempted.

Should I? Well, the perfect wine to me is a buttery/creamy Chardonnay - can it top that? ;)
