Bees don't bother me. Their cousins the wasps, on the other hand ...

However, bees, wasps and spiders have this in common: If you leave them alone they will generally leave you alone. Mosquitoes and other small bloodsuckers are extremely annoying. And I try to minimize the use of bug spray. I'm educated in chemistry, so I know how bad too much of that stuff can bee to you.

One insect that hasn't been mentioned yet is the bumblebee. I must say, I get happy when I see them. They make me think of summer :) and they don't go after my blood, like mosquitoes do.

Bees have never bothered me either. But now a spider third day in a row. I go downstairs to let the cat out, I come back and there it is. Just sitting in one place, staring at me. Now, 10 minutes later, it's gone, hidden somewhere, waiting for the chance to scare the living crap out of me again.
