No point in going to heaven for me. I won't know anybody there.

Alestorm are fun live.

Shaved bear is scary, in a cool kind of way.

Did I miss something?

If you're worried about a 20 degree fluctuation in most parts of the world, that's extreme. In Nova Scotia, we call that Tuesday.

Woke up and Canada picked up two more medals - a gold and a bronze. Yay! But the dirty Norwegians now have more than we do. Boo!

One tenth of the UK's population owns a copy of Queen's Greatest Hits.

That's shamefully low! Even taking into account that there's little point in couples having a copy each, and babies aren't going to own one etc... it is still shamefully low!

Although tbh I think these days I favour GH2 over GH1

I'm sure it's a higher proportion of the population than will ever own One Direction's "greatest" hits.

I know my mother owns both of Queen's greatest hits albums so they're easily accessible to me.

I think they should just give you a copy of Queen's Greatest Hits once you enter high school. "Here you are, enjoy."

Wikipedia says that ABBA's greatest hits album holds that record, but Queen albums in general have spent more time in the charts than any other act and 'Greatest Hits' is the highest selling album in the UK ever (5.9 million copies as of May 2013).

Nah earlier than that, what age do we reckon kids first become interested in music? 6? 8?

Pretty sure the platinum collection was the first CD I was ever given actually.

Well I only got that CD when I was like 16 >.>

I was more thinking if you gave a child a CD, at what age do you think they'd listen to it and get into it rather than just go "meh" and toss it aside :P

I grew up on Queen actually. I remember my mum playing Queen cassettes in the car when I was as young as 5. Apparently when I was younger than that I was singing along to 'Friends Will be Friends' with the words "I be a friend".

It's hard to say because I feel like I've listen to music forever but first memories of it would be around age 4 or 5. There was always good music being played in my house. I had a good musical upbringing.

When I was 9 Dad ran out and bought a CD player for the sole purpose of getting the newly released Pink Floyd album, The Division Bell. I was raised on Floyd, Boston, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, and similar such acts. I don't think my current musical tastes is a big leap from those.

Well, first memories of music seem to be a different matter. The age I said was when I became aware of what I'm listening to, what bands I like most etc. Of course most here didn't have YouTube back in their childhood so music wasn't so easy to access.
