Curling: Oh good, Canada picked up 2 in the 6th. But Switzerland has the hammer now, so they just need to play quite defensively to steal one from Canada. We're laying two quite nicely, though. Hopefully we can make this happen.

I've just been comparing Olympic medal tables from the last 30 years, and I can't decide whether Germany stopped drugging its athletes in 2000, or Australia, South Korea and Japan started drugging theirs then.

EDIT: That concerns the Summer games. The drugging has obviously been consistent in the Winter games until now.
 
Come home to find out Canada has won gold in 1500 m men's speed skating. Excellent.

But I sit down to watch our men's curling team give up 3 points in the 5th end after going 0-0. WTF.

First I thought "what? The 1500m isn't today?" but then I realized the short track skaters also have a 1500m competition.
