Busy day for me too. I must have my picture taken for my identity card then go and have the card renewed with the new picture.

Well, I couldn't skate fast for 5000 m - hell, I probably couldn't skate for 5000 m at all - but I'd say those who do it at the Olympics are pretty damn fast. And remember, short track speed skating is a relatively new thing. For most of the years skating has been a competitive sport, 500 m has been the shortest distance. (The distances in the allround tournaments are 500m, 1500m, 5000m and 10 000m)
