5-0 Canada over the Swiss in women's hockey. I think they will only have to clean one end of the ice.
The Swiss have had 12 shots, Canada is closing in on 70.

Bjørndalen! At age 40 he still can grind it out. His 7th Olympic win is now a fact. @Ariana will probably be happy to note that Martin Fourcade didn't even make the top 5.

@Forostar is probably over the moon with the result of said 5000m skating race, as the Dutch occupy the entire podium. Sven Kramer simply is in a league of his own, and an athlete of the kind each sport only sees every once in a while.

This day has brought Norway one silver (Slopestyle snowboarding), gold and bronze in the women's 15 km cross-country, and Bjørndalen's gold medal in the biathlon sprint. I think I'll have a beer to celebrate :D

Cheers man!

Bjørndalen did it again! Age 40! Let's see how he breaks the record of cross-country skiing legend Bjoern Daehlie.
Damn, excellent. Also congrats with Marit "Iron Maiden ;-)" Bjoergen.

Foro, will you be happy with "only" a gold medal for the Dutch on this particular distance, or do the Dutch demand top 3 in order for the skaters to avoid public humiliation upon their return?
Sorry, I saw this a little late. I think we really hoped for a full Dutch podium. The media were full of it. Don't think it would have been humiliating if it were "only" two medals. It would have been weird if Kramer wouldn't have gold though.

First gold for Canada. Younger sister beats middle sister for gold and silver in the women's moguls.
Oldest Dufour-Lapointe sister also in the top 12. Talk about your sibling rivalries.

Norway leads, Canada and Holland tied for second,
Hmm...coincidence which Maidenfans following most closely? :p

I guess Putin is not happy. Not a single Russian medalist today. They'll have at least one good chance tomorrow, men's 30km cross-country. They have some strong guys there.

The Russians are dominating the figure skating team competition, which sets them up for a medal there and a handful more in the individual competition.
