Here's a disturbing piece of knowledge from my country. Did you know the mayor of Eskişehir, where a 19 year old was beaten to death by police and a couple of people for being a part of the major protests that were held in Turkey months ago, claimed that the person might have been killed by his friends to blame it on police? And that this mayor was named "Mayor of the Year" couple of days ago? And people who have beaten him to death aren't punished yet? And there are millions of people in this country claiming that he "deserved" it because he took part in protests?

The first trial in regards to his death was held yesterday and was postponed for three months later, that's where I'm coming from. People who have killed him had the ignominy to claim that the 19 year old used swear words against them, something the witnesses rejected instantly, saying that the 19 year old was begging them to stop.

I want to get the fuck out of this country of injustice, corruption and ignorance as fast as possible.

I just shaved.

Yesterday on the train I think I saw someone wearing the same Iron Maiden t-shirt as me. I could see part of the logo as his hoodie wasn't fully zipped up.
 
I have wanted to sleep since I woke up this morning. +2 oC and rain isn't exactly the weather that makes me enter the "conquer the world" mood.
