Good morning/early afternoon, world!

Asda is a pretty run-of-the-mill supermarket, I've never seen any of the colourful characters photographed at Walmart. Argos, Iceland and TK Maxx do get a few eccentrics around here. I've heard Walmart treats staff pretty appallingly.

I've always wondered why some people don't take their shoes off when they enter houses. It never happens here in Turkey. It's a house, bringing in the streets' dirt just doesn't make sense to me. Is this an international thing? What about you guys?

Flash, this may shock you, but people take off their shoes before entering a house only in our part of the world.

I don't care if people keep on their shoes in my place. I don't have a carpet floor or anything like that. Other than that, it's customary here to take off your shoes in the hallway of a place. I only know very few people who actually expect you to take off your shoes before you enter their flat.

As above, in the hallway, not outside.

Yesterday and today - best 2 days this year. Passed an oral exam with a maximum grade, got money, bought ticket for IE concert and Milan won a match. :nana:
