Hard to pick on ... but Empire Strikes Back is my favorite that I saw when it came out ... other favorites are movies like Vertigo, Trouble with Harry, and Shadow of a Doubt
 
I have really weird tastes.

I love the old 'Pump Up The Volume' movie (thats the radio pirate in me)
Love Ghostbusters-- classic movie there

and The Wrath Of Khan.... what an awesome movie, after such a huge dud to start the movie series.
 
Mine is 2001: A Space Odyssey. There's others I love a lot as well, such as The Empire Strikes Back, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Master and Commander, plus others that fall in the 'guilty pleasure' category.

The Shining
Jaws
The Name of the Rose
The Exorcist
Apocalypse Now
Rosemary's Baby

And a lot of others.
 
Guilty pleasure category? A lot of the classic 80s action movies...Rambo:First Blood, Terminator 2, Bloodsport etc...

+ a lot of children's movies and animated ones :D

I need to pick up Kes, which I just heard about recently. I guess all of the UK members know about this movie?! Supposedly it is on the British Film Institute's top 10 British films..

 
My guilty pleasures are definitely films like Conan the Barbarian or Armageddon.
 
I love Excalibur, but also seriously enjoy the two Kill Bill movies, first two Alien movies, and yeah, the Star Wars original trilogy.
 
Aliens is way up there on my list. Same with Jurassic Park, original Star Wars trilogy, In Bruges, Die Hard, Predator, and way too many others to count.
