I wouldn't mind if the good weather had held back for a week! I am not looking forward to the mud.
My friends and I are getting a coach to Derby in the morning then using the shuttle bus to get to Donington Park and back, then we're getting the coach back to Birmingham on the Sunday morning. The rain might make the night in Derby pretty miserable but it'll lessen the chances of getting mugged.

Last time I was at donnington I was in shorts.. and it rained for 5 hours straight - I was a mixture of blue and white skin tone, unable to move my fingers... yet somehow when I got home I was sunburnt!? First time I ever camped there it was roasting during day and ice cold at night (and I didn't bring a sleeping bag \o/), I screwed my back up and lost my voice before Maiden too

I did that in Bergen in 2010. My voice was bad and my neck tired even before Maiden got on stage. That's what a good warm-up band does to you
After Maiden, I had absolutely no voice left. That was the concert during which Bruce changed the lyrics of "No more lies" to "No more rain"

Was re watching the big 4 blu ray with Anthrax,Megadeth,Slayer&Metallica. Why didn't Jeff&Kerry come out for the picture with all the bands at the end of "am I evil?" even Tom came out from the back and was in the picture. And I know it's already common knowledge but man Lars sticks out like a sour thumb as being the least talented guy in all the 4 bands. Take drumming lessons lars. And if Maiden were in the big 4 who would you take out anthrax,mega,slayer or metallica?
