Anyone here using Windows 8? Should I try it or stick with Windows 7?
I've tried it. We set up a test box for it. Once you get used to it, it isn't bad. It is just different without the 'start' button. However, I'm told that Windows 8.1 is going to be out very soon-- anyone with Win8 gets the free upgrade, and rumor has it 8.1 will have the 'start' button back.

Give it a whirl.

It won't suck up anything or hardly suck up anything and hasn't been working right ever since we got it. I checked all the hoses and such and nothing seems to be extremely clogging it. To top that off, I went in and cleaned the filter which hasn't been cleaned since I got it (I didn't get it new...) so now all this black sooty stuff is all over my house that I'm trying to clean up and god knows what the hell it is or what I'm breathing in now. I also have carpet powder all over that needs to be vacuumed but can't because the vacuum is shit. I got a little vacuum thing that I'll use to clean up the rest of the mess until we get a new big regular one. I'm mainly pissed because I probably would have been done cleaning by now if I didn't have to mess with the vacuum... Yay girl house cleaning problems.

One of the best feelings is waking up and freaking out because you think it's Monday, and then realizing that you're wrong. :D
I had a similar experience once. I woke up with the feeling I was late for school and kicked my sister out of bed. We dressed up in a minute and virtually ran out of home and ran all the way to the bus stop. It wasn't before we got there that we realized the street was strangely quiet and deserted. Guess what? It was 3 am.

The roller spun just fine and the belt on the inside was fine too. Didn't sound like it was dying either. Maybe there is something unforeseen that's clogging it. I don't know. All I know is that I'm done messing with it and I think I'm done cleaning for the day.

Only one in the office on a holiday Monday.
The loud music sure improves the work environment.
