Constant problems, mainly because of people who don't know how to take others into consideration. And when I've had a million small things pile up on each other, I just lose the last bit of motivation to go to school.

It's probably because the majority of the "friends" nowadays aren't really friends but harlequins to one's self joy.
 
Depends what it was. But I'd say its common courtesy to say a simple "thanks" if someone helps out with something. If I helped someone with something and they just turned around on me and walked away I'd think they were stuck-up douche bags :D
