Oh came on, the Iron Maiden always played with the Iron Maiden.

They were even that lucky. This is like a band living in the right time.

Some classmates told me there's going to be a presentation kind of thing in a week or so where everyone has to pick like two or three bands and talk about them and their genre. Of course, there had to be this one guy who picked Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, even though he probably couldn't name any other names than Bruce Dickinson from either of the said bands, and songs like "The Trooper". I wouldn't be so disappointed if he had only picked Maiden but the fact that he also took Judas is so wrong because he has barely even heard of them. This music thing can also be done in pairs but that would also suck way too much. My only escape option is hoping that many different people can talk about the same bands, not having to be in a pair.

It's surprising how little things people can do to kill the mood.

If you did do it in pairs, you could present it from opposing views of a casual fan vs a diehard fan?

I think I'm seriously getting into new wave music. There are some true gems. Not only the synth influenced rock kind of new wave, but synthpop. Depeche Mode's Violator has been the main album of my playlist these days.

Try Songs of Faith and Devotion.

I like some Erasure at times-- and if you dig Abba, the Erasure Abba-esque was kinda fun. The ex used to love a LA new wave band called Strawberry Switchblade. And maybe the Lightening Seeds.

The albums I recently added to my "albums to get" list considering your suggestions and doing research :

Depeche Mode - Songs of Faith and Devotion
Alphaville - Forever Young
The Cars - The Cars
The Cars - Heartbeat City
New Order - Movement
New Order - Power, Corruption & Lies
New Order - Brotherhood
New Order - Technique

I'm planning on sharing a list of all the albums I currently have to help you guys help me to widen it. But not yet since it's not in order.
