Very much disagree. But agreed though, that Steel Panther isn't for everyone.I'm afraid I never had any use for Steel Panther. Novelty acts are OK, but novelty nostalgia acts? That's just a waste of talent.

Satchel (Russ Parish, the guitar player) played on Fights War of Words. If they had gone down the serious route and still played Glam/sleeze, nobody would've cared about them. Like, nobody.
Yes, they are a Metal comedy act, I did not refute that in any way (quite the contrary). LA-scene equivalent of Spinal Tap and the D.They're a bit of a joke though aren't they. I look at Steel Panther in much the same way I look at Tenacious D.

I want to see a black metal joke band next...Ok I don't really.![]()
Same here Perun, they were really big around Pick of Destiny you couldn't really avoid them. You don't hear about them much anymore though...

There was absolutely no reason for The Angel and the Gambler to be almost 10 minutes long though. The single/music video edit cuts everything down to 4 minutes and you don't miss anything at all. Should have put the 4 minute version on the album.
