I was listening to X Factor the other day and BOTWH really stood out to me as a song they should bring back. I'd love to hear the current lineup's take on it.

Unbeliever live would be so awesome.

I got home super-easy today. The hardest part was walking from my house in Birmingham to the bus stop along tyre tracks in the road carrying my suitcase because when I tried to tow it behind me it just dragged along a load of snow. Asides from that the only other issue was that the train to Glasgow got in about 15 minutes late because it had to take it easy early in the journey due to the possibility of icy rails. It was on time, however, and I didn't see a flake of snow fall in Scotland. I even stayed on the train an extra two stops to save myself some time and money.:D

So yeah, I listened to my first Helloween album a few days ago. Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt. I is a fantastic album if only it wasn't plagued by a lot of power metal filler(the worst kind of filler for an album). I'll be honest here, the only power metal album that I've enjoyed front to back is the first 5 or 6(?) albums by Gamma Ray. Anyway back to Keeper, I loved the bass on the album and Halloween kicks ass.

Also Stratovarius albums take forever and all the songs are the same.

The epitome of pubescent Metal humor. I love Steel Panther.

What's weird though, is that this is just like Mötley Crue's Carnival of Sins, only MC are serious.

Yeah, there are a lot of tits. Forgot to mention that (although implied by the Carnival of Sins reference). :D

I did wonder whether that bass player was a girl for a bit >.>

I normally find cheesy things quite funny but I dunno, it's gone a little too cheesy for me past humour and into stupid :P With it being an obvious piss take of Motley Crue (although even they aren't quite THAT exaggerated :P) I really hope that Hip replacement wasn't a dig at Mick Mars, the guy has had a hip replacement but it ain't an age thing... Obviously the fact I found the whole thing less funny contributed to that thought ^^

Also.. wtf Corey Taylor wearing wellies!? o.O

I'm afraid I never had any use for Steel Panther. Novelty acts are OK, but novelty nostalgia acts? That's just a waste of talent.

I don't care for them much. One song was amusing but it gets old really fast. Not my sort of humor I guess

Bloody hell. Skied 33 km today and it felt like I ran into a brick wall with 10 km remaining. I haven't been this tired since ... eh, the last time I skied more than 30 km. But it was worth it. Nice conditions and fantastic weather. Days like this are the very reason cross-country skiing actually is a popular pasttime.
