So I think I told you guys I live in a semi-rural area on southern Vancouver Island.
A veteran food network filmmaker from Holland and a retired composer from South Africa both settled here and ended up as neighbours.
Over a bottle of wine one night they got to talking about how they wanted to do something creative to celebrate their new home.
The composer rearranged some Beethoven and recruited 89 local volunteer singers and musicians to perform it.
And the filmmaker turned it into the soundtrack for a showcase of my community.
Turned out cool enough that I wanted to share. (My wife makes a brief appearance kayaking at 1:46)
My husband apparently thought I worked today. He just called me asking when I was going to bed and he had forgotten it was the weekend and I don't work.
