Norway, the land of contrasts in weather.

As my profile shows, I live in Oslo, which is located in the south-east part of Norway. Here, we have had a warm week with temperatures reaching close to 300 K. I just was on the phone with a friend living up north, and they have rain and a few degrees above freezing. So, while I have used this beautiful Sunday for a bike ride in the forests north of Oslo, getting nicely sunburnt, and observing the first adder of the year, he was sitting inside wishing he had a fireplace.
