I must say my running form has not benefitted from the winter. This week has been mild and not good for skiing, so I decided to go for a 7,5 km running round. It took more than 50 min and I had to walk big parts of the last kilometer. Rubbish!

Yeah, I know that feeling. I have been riding my exercise bicycle lately to get back into shape and I am SO out of shape...

So, I've been going through the studio albums(Iron Maiden) again. I wanted to find songs that I completely forgot about, but I didn't know where to start; so I went to a random choice generator online, put in the studio albums. And at first I got NPftD, so I re-listened to it.......

Holy shit this album is great.

No Prayer for the Dying:
So guys, I'll be selecting a random album each day or so to give it another spin. Today my randomly selected album will be No Prayer for the Dying. So I went into this album thinking and remembering it being a fairly boring album. I, to be honest, was surprised as hell when I went through it again; I heard an edgier, fairly heavier Maiden portrayed throughout NPftD. It starts off with these groovy melodies that fit the band's style for it's time, I mean come on it's the 90'. Now some asswipe just brought grunge into the market and that's what the people now have a taste for all of a sudden. NPftD is very similar in style and pacing as the first two Maiden albums, except this time around these songs share a substance that bounces you around and is a truly rocking formula that Maiden will bring around once more. The only true low point of this album would be Hooks in You, still an ok song but not up to Maiden standards. So many songs on here are just greater than I once remembered and it's great that I got to here this again, 9.2 all around. Next up, The Final Frontier.
