Well, experiences shape who you are... but it's less events/expriences I wish I could forget permanently, it's certain comments.
Only problem I'd forsee with erasing bad memories ala Eternal Sunshine, is I would either have to erase half my life (to which most the other stuff would cease to make sense) or I'd try talk to someone then wonder why they were pissed off.
