Today, the Swedish central bank revealed the faces that will be on the new line of banknotes that will be issued in 2014 or so. The theme was cultural luminaries from the 20th century, preferably ones who are famous internationally. Since this forum is international, I thought I'd ask the question: which names are you familiar with? The selections are Astrid Lindgren, Evert Taube, Greta Garbo, Ingmar Bergman, Birgit Nilsson and Dag Hammarskjöld.

I know all but Birgit Nilsson. Lindgren and Taube are loved in Norway, Garbo and Bergman are known worldwide, Hammarskjöld followed Trygve Lie as Secretary-General of the UN (amazing that two small nations like Norway and Sweden had the first two!) and I obviously need to read more about classical singers.
I am aware of all of them, but my girlfriend would have my nuts if I wasn't.
