Hey, sometimes its all about the groove of the song, and what it does to your workout.  I totally understand that one.

In other news: NASCAR is back-- and I'm the only one that cares.  :yey:

Nah.  Last race is usually in October (IIRC) and the first race is always around this weekend of the year.  They run 36 races (I think it's still 36) and have a few weeks off during the season.

I don't know how one could sit through 200 or some laps of cars driving in a circle...

OH, actually last race this year is Nov 20th, then none again until about the 2nd or 3rd weekend in Feb.

You know, its kinda hard to explain.  Some sports are fun no matter who is playing or what the forum.  However, NASCAR is interesting once you know who the drivers are.  The cars are so close, its interesting to see who is really a good driver and who isnt.  Also, there is something about seeing someone go 200mph.  I don't usually watch all season, sometimes I don't like the tracks and the races get boring, but there is something about Daytona...

I find F1 more interesting, however, I'd like to watch a NASCAR race with someone who's into it.

Yeah, I think F1 takes a lot of talent, because there is a lot of right and left turns, more about setting up the car for braking.  The one thing I like about NASCAR is that there is almost always a race-- in a lot of 'road coarse' racing, a caution is for a certain section of the track.  In NASCAR, its a full coarse caution, so there is always a regrouping of the cars, and it makes the racing more interesting.

What is the difference between F1 and Nascar?

F1 is a lot more 'roadracing' in that the courses resemble the winding roads, where nascar is usually an oval or something similar to that.  Handling is important in both, but setting up a car to go both left and right is more difficult, suspension wise.  Also, nascar is 'based' in a stock type of car-- V-8 carburetor engines, where F1 is a lot more 'high tech'

Oh, that's cool. I might actually enjoy something like that.

I love motorcycle racing, almost all forms, whether its 'stock' bikes or one-off high tech ones.  However, in any series that is roadracing, the racing itself (at the front) is rarely close.  But, yeah, give F1 a try, you may enjoy it!

LC, I don't know if I like the looks of that, but I'm off to read!

We are half way through the 6 Nations....and only I care. :D

And The Angel and the Gambler does not deserve a ten. It only deserves a 9.99999999999999999999999.

Whoops!!  I had thought 8 was the one that allowed gay marriage, but looks like it was the one that refused it.  So, good on the courts, I believe.

I finally beat Metroid for the DS, after years of on and off playing.
The game sucks. Not as much as a really bad game, but it made me go through video game hell to finish it.

There is a metroid on DS? I have other M on the wii but by the time the first cut scene ended I was done playing. I don't plan on revisiting it any time soon.

In other news, I'm restarting Mario World. Best Mario game ever.
