I learned to sleep while skiing, but I guess they don't ski in the IDF.   :smartarse:  But, maybe they'll let him off completely because they can't find big enough clothes for him...

Kinda weird talk right there, but I like it.
You know, The guy at the tall clothes shop can get me the official army tailor's number, He can get me a decent uniform.

Anyway, yeah, the basic training will suck. But it's only around 3 weeks, and it's 8 months away.
What I really am afraid of is the six month course, they really kick your ass there. After that, it's all smooth sailing. I hope.

And actually no, I'm sleeping about 8 hours a night right now, so not sleeping at all again is going to suck.

On a completely different subject, Cougar Town is a pretty good show.

Found this US power metal band, Powerglove, they play game and cartoon themes. NP: Powerglove - Pokemon Theme (feat. Tony Kakko)

I agree, good stuff.

Well my friend who started working at the new hotel with me is thinking about quitting. No surpise there. It's ok though, she wasn't even around for most of my shifts.

That's a kickass roadie.

EDIT: My shift today got cancelled. I had a feeling this would happen, dreams do come true!
Now considering a late morning shift.

What the hell, is no one alive?

Watched the first 30 minutes of "For a few dollars more" just now, and jesus christ I almost fell asleep. You've seen one western, you've seen them all.

Right now, sitting at a hotel room in Bratislava after having dinner with my colleagues. We arrived here at 9 PM. Unlike the last time I traveled, today I had time to tidy my apartment before I left, which means on Friday night I'll be  coming home to order rather than mess. That will be great.

In the meantime, I'll just have to survive the week of lectures, courses and whatever academic stuff comes my way. There will probably be some beer in between as well. And writing on that €$£@¤%& thesis.

Good night, folks.

What the fuck is wrong with you? Westerns are incredibly diverse films. Some are action-packed shoot-em-ups (3:10 to Yuma), some are slow character stories (Unforgiven, Shane), some are proper epics (The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly).

For A Few Dollars More is rather the latter, with a dribble of the character story.

Just a boring day.... i'm watching the KC game that cornfedhick is at.  not so good...

Did you see him on TV? I assume he's the one who looks like a lawyer.

Haha!  I was looking for him, but had no luck... Must be too many lawyers in the stands to distinguish.

I liked 3:10 to Yuma, but Pale Rider is one of my all time fav Westerns.  Although, I know some people don't like it, I enjoyed Tombstone.

And, of course, there is the classic Western/Comedy: Maverick.

I can't wait for this game to come out!

If it weren't two in the morning, I'd watch For a Few Dollars More right now. Ah well, at least I have time to listen to the title music.
