AH FUCK! I just got the red ring of death of my Xbox360! And it's 3 red rings which means hardware failure which requires maintenance. My system is pretty old since it doesn't have an HDMI output so it's probably from that lead free bullshit.

They will likely cover the repair for no charge. And, last I checked, the PS3 and the 360 had close to the same failure rate.

It's pretty old and not under warranty. I found people on craigslist who can fix it for under $30. I'd rather pay that than put up with all of microsuck's bullshit.

Ya, it's too bad that traditional football, well soccer to us here, has pretty much died off completely. I remember when there was a pro soccer league because I went to a game for the Minnesota Strikers. I wonder why it was killed off.

I was talking about Canadian football, a form of gridiron football.

And MLS is still going quite strong in the USA. Your closest franchise is the Chicago Fire. Mine will be the Montreal Impact when they start operation in 2011.

Ha! For some reason, I was thinking of the Arena Football League.  They dropped out due to the economy, and I don't think they have done anything since.

MLS has been going pretty well, I know that Chicago is pretty big into their team.  I think LA tried to go big a couple years back with that player from Madrid (can't remember his name, but he was a 'super star')...but I think that didn't work very well-- think he was injured a lot.  (granted, that's just from memory)

David Beckham!

He still plays but he is injured at the minute so isn't much use. He probably would've made the England World Cup squad but for injuries.

Right, Beckham!  I just remember reading/seeing that it was a huge deal that he was coming to play in the MLS.

Beckham was, at the time he came to the Galaxy, pretty much the most famous athlete in the entire world.

I had a little chuckle at that - someone who could not remember Beckham's name. That is a bit or a rarity. :D
