I got a free set of Iron Maiden beer coasters with my copy of The Final Frontier at the cashier. Nice.

Oh yeah, and I got a 2,0 in my Kurdish exam (that would be a straight B in the US, or maybe a B+ even). That's the best result I ever had in any language course since I started studying (unless you count that sixth attempt 1,0 in Latin a few years ago), and I still would probably not even find a bus stop in Kurdistan.

There are some regulars on here who could be helping out a little. It doesn't matter what you say or do here. Just put a smiley every now and then. :)
We've been trying to help out for years - but it needs some more input from the newbies (rather than just post stuff only in the Maiden Chat).

And good job Perun :ok:

[Dave Mustaine raspy growl] What do you mean I don't contribute enough? I got nothing better to do! [/Dave Mustain raspy growl]

Decided to reinstall Mount&Blade: Warband, as the sounds were funny on it (they have been static-filled since the last patch). I'm downloading from steam at 1.8 MBps (not Mbps). Fuck, I have a good connection for $30 a month.

The problem I have is that my broadband is paid for by the company I work for - and I get what I'm given. Sad really. I don't get that speed.

In other news, I have The CD today and will be listening to it very shortly. :D

Over on the left side of Canada I find my self getting close to 13mbps download speed.

Steam tends to only give me 4

Itunes much more.

Cheers, Albie! :)

So, tonight I'm going to an event called "Poser meets Pussy Party". The website says it's Heavy Glam Rock, but the DJ promised me to play Angel Witch. Hmm.

mozzle, are you talking about Megabits per second or Megabytes per second? Because I get fifteen of the former.

Hehe, look what I just found on the web:

Loose, you suck. I'm paying $45 for about 2.8Mbps. And another $45 for telephone cause all I can get is DSL. (Which is prob ADSL)

Now watching Phantom of the opera from ullevi

"Send this fucking message out across the airwaves! We are Iron fucking Maiden and we are going to come and fucking get you where ever you are!"

And living in Canada, you must have a nice, small monthly cap to go with that speed. That's one gripe I've read about ISP's there. Comcast isn't too much better with their 250GB cap even though I'll never come anywhere near it.

I have a cap. 100 gigs a month. That includes both upload and download. Though I've never not exceeded that. I was told if I was going to go over, do it at times of day when there is little to no traffic in my area.  I do most my downloading at night. I've exceeded 600 gigs in a month, and I've never got charged extra. The strictness varies a lot. I know people who get charged for  every megabytes over their cap. Or simply just disconnected until they slow down. I guess I'm just lucky.

LC, I just tested mine. 35.48 Megabits per second.

That's pretty good about your cap.

I usually get 25-30 mbps for download and that's on a 12 mbps connection. Of course, that's powerboost kicking in.
