In all seriousness, a Senator from the GOP (Republican party) switched his allegiance to the Democratic party today. Quite an interesting event. Not one that I recall seeing before.
I know the GOP will be pissed, but I wonder what the people that voted him in think... I'll have to read up on this some more.
Interesting. You know, I don't see a fracture leading to a third party, but it seems that these 'moderates' are having a harder and harder time finding a place that they feel comfortable. Granted, I know that there is more than just principal here; he wants to win the next election and prob cant even get the bid for the seat in the Rep party. Hmmm
