Can't tell about Phantom and Lord, honestly, can't remmember (tommorow).
As far as the Angel is concerned, they did the right thing with shortening it.

Played only on one tour, although back in the day Harris told that it was the best song he had ever written. Don't know if they had some other problems because of the Dune theme.

That's almost certainly the case. Frank Herbert was pretty harsh in his refusal to be associated with the song.

One more comment. The new FOH guy is amazing. The drum sound is probably the best I've ever heard at a Maiden concert. Immense. The drums were a bit too loud in Tallinn, but in Helsinki the levela were just right. Also amazing sound in the middle of a barrier.

Lord of flies with Bruce in 2003 was in a different key and the whoooahh bit was extended.

Angel and the gambler got shorter over the 98 tour. OriginAlly they played the ten minute ridiculous version but it seemed to get down to six by the end

Wasn't it on 2005. tour? They also shortened Prisoner in Belgrade in 2014, but I think it was a a mistake, Bruce started to sing first verse earlier.

The studio version of The Clansman was never one of my favorite songs, but I admit the live version sounds electric. I imagine it is an incredible live experience when the crowd is singing along. Who doesn't love "FREEDOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!"???? I haven't experienced this yet. Hope I do on US tour in 2019.

This song could easily complement Fear of the Dark as obligatory in setlist for crowd participation purposes.
