Worse than replacing it with..... Wrathchild?!
As much as I love Wrathchild (Killers was my first Maiden album), it would be a mistake...Worse than replacing it with..... Wrathchild?!
Oh,Hell yeah! Still don't understand why Killers was not on the Early Days Tour...As long as they go straight into Killers after it then I could accept it
Excellent photo! Is that another John McMurtrie pic?Winged Harris:
Heaven can wait can wait for the next tour.
Yup, it was posted on Maiden's social media with #mcmurtrie.Excellent photo! Is that another John McMurtrie pic?
You're not alone - it's great live. But maybe not every concert, heh.....I may be alone in this (again), but I think "Heaven Can Wait" is a fantastic live song that should be played at every concert.
Wait, what? I thought they didn't have any, and that's why they used some video audience video from the Sheffield 1986 gig for the History Of... videos?Live production of that album can't be replicated and that was learned in 1986. They don't like how it sounds live. Steve loves the album, just not the way it sounds live. They admit they have live recordings from that tour but I think they're embarrassed by the way it sounds.
It's a good song. I've always liked it. Just doesn't need to be a concert staple. The problem with Heaven Can Wait is that it's not a very good song.
I respect your opinion. I think most people (including me) would rather see literally any other song from SiT. And I am a firm believer that if Maiden isn't going to play Alexander the Great ever (and they are not) then there's only two songs worth hearing from SiT live. It's a good song. I've always liked it. Just doesn't need to be a concert staple.
