Exactly! Bruce is 60 in a couple of weeks FFS, and in remission from mouth cancer, he's never going to sound like a 30 year old is he?
Thankfully he sounds much better live than 30 year old Bruce.

Sold out shows don't appear as sold out on Maiden website! Probably because sometimes extra tickets will be released when getting closer to the gig. For example Tallin. It sold out around christmas, but they added some tickets here and there in the weeks before the show.
You can hear Steve do it on "Blood on the World's Hands" and on their cover of The Who's "My Generation".I would like to see Steve do a Bass Solo (Running Free live version does not count )

Off-topic.I always wondered why Maiden did not recorded the Guitar Solo ''Walking On Glass'' as a B-side or as a bonus song to the SIT album.
I think they played Guitar Solo live 'till the SOT '86 and Drum Solo 'till the WPT '83 ! But they were very short as a duration - 1 or 3 minutes long, on the other hand, the ''Walking On Glass'' solo was 5 minutes long - a full instrumental song.... I like very much Dave's Guitar Solo during the Powerslave tour (why Adrian did not do one).

I don't like medleys, but Guitar & Drum Solos (like Kiss do them) I like a lot ! the Drum Solo by Eric Carr was fantastic
I miss the time when Maiden released cool stuff as a B-sides to their singles with amazing artworks (the singles B-sides were cool 'till the BNW album)
No bass solos please.

Or drum solos. Can't think of anything less exciting...

Is there anything he cant do?While I pretty much agree, there are times when they're definitely entertaining.
That was brilliant, was that in the middle of the set?
So if Bruce's singing was stronger in the 2000s than in the 1980s, it begs the question - when was Little Brucie at peak performance?
Barrier collapsed.Yup! If I'm not mistaken, there were some techical issues with guitars or something, so they needed to make up some entertainment for the wait. If I remember correctly, there's another video with Bruce telling something like "...something we'll do only in the extreme circumstances. I have to do a drum solo!"

I really hope that Bruce can keep this insanely great shape for the rest of the tour and next year. Especially if they'll film some upcoming shows... I hope they will.
