LEGACY OF THE BEAST 2019

You know, I'm very surprised no one has suggested that The Man Who Would Be King could be put in the set, given it's the victory music for the Legacy Of The Beast game, unless I'm wrong.

Then again, I suppose I should be thankful about that, since it means this forum at least has some common sense. I mean, you just have to doubt that sometimes...

:p

For the greater good of god or sign of the cross would be dropped in favor of another couple of songs related with the theme (religion or war).

maybe I'm wrong but I think sign of the cross and for the greater good of god aren't too popular in US. I think they only want to hear classics songs like The Trooper, The Number of the Beast, Hallowed be thy name, 2 minutes to midnight, aces high, powerslave…

Back in 2000 Nicko McBrain wrote in an online diary that Sign of the Cross and The Clansman went down like a lead balloon (or words to that effect) in the USA. Maiden did not change the setlist then and it is highly unlikely they would change it this time either.

Some people in the US, like me, would like to see SOTC and FTGGOG. #NotAllAmericans

Yeah, us Americans is like a bunch o' stupid rubes.. Where are you from, superior Maiden fan?
Be quiet man, I didn't insult to anyone. I'm just talking about the US heavy metal fans in general because they always prefered the Maiden classics to new and long progresive songs like sign of the cross, the clansman or For the greater good of God either because they're not easy and catchy songs like the songs from the 80's or for the first two songs i said comes from the 90's with a 'non Bruce Dickinson' singer and for the massive heavy metal in US are unknown songs because during the 90's Iron Maiden happened to be a thing from the past, older and people preferred bands like Metallica, Guns N Roses, the grunge and the thing called Nu Metal and that's it. It's understandable. I respect the tastes of each public. The same that I'm tired to hear them play The Trooper, Hallowed be thy Name or The Number of the beast every tours and I would prefer that they play unplayed live songs or songs like Stranger in a Strange Land or Infinite Dreams, the Longest day, or whatever… by the way, I'm a maiden fan since 1987 from Spain (Europe) and I am not superior to anyone and nobody is superior to me. Peace and cheers!
