Much, much better!

The delay on Bruce's vocals during ATSS is fucking annoying though :/

Yeah... But you can still hear the sound engineer changing the mix around during the first minute of Moonchild (I didn't bother watching after that). I wonder if it was better than at the Zagreb show I visited this year.
According to Kevin Shirley's Facebook page, he was in Rio to mix Maiden for the webcast. And, that's a pretty common occurance for live shows. I felt the mix (or band, for that matter) didn't really settle in until
The Prisoner.

All the above videos should be in spoilers since they show what the stage looks like in the previews.

Ehhhhhh, there's only four dates left, buzz off, ya wanker, and...nah, I'm kidding. You're right. I fixed it.

Also, since this was streamed live, and I doubt it'll be a DVD, I don't think I'm breaking any laws by saying: go to Keep Tube and plug in the link for that 1080 vid. You'll have an easily accessible, albeit 2.5 GB, version right on your hard drive. :okok:

I'm personally happy that this is on YouTube for all of us to enjoy... Killer show that was fun to watch live and even better for repeat viewings. I'm hoping Maiden make one more brilliant move.... Let Kevin finish the mix at this year's Download show and release it on bluray since the beginning was so epic. I'm not going into details in case of spoiler violations, but it would be a great show to see for us diehards that weren't able to attend. It would be even more killer to release rio with it... That way us purists will be somewhat content that one show would come close to capturing Maiden's atmospheric vibe and the other would just be fascinating to see! A double live bluray/DVD set with a mini tourbook... Ahh, dream a little dream!
I do have to say after seeing them live last year in Houston, and watching countless shows of this tour on YouTube, last night, the band was spot on, although, like mentioned before, the sound was a little shaky at times, the camera work gave me chills! No fast edits either! Outstanding presentation overall IMO! :nana:

LOL That's cool. The mods are pretty strict about spoilers being used and I don't want to see you get in any trouble. :)

These types of shows are allowed on the popular bit torrent bootleg site Dimeadozen and Maiden has absolutely no problem with that type of thing either. I split the tracks into .mp3 for my iPod. They're at a bitrate of 192 though. If anyone wants those, at a bitrate of 256, It's not too hard. You basically download the full show as an mp3. This is the best site to use because it saves files at the correct bitrate. Then you get this completely free program which has no ad/spyware. You also need this add-on. Install the program and then the add-on. You then start up Audacity and click "file" then "open". Locate your mp3 open that. You'll then see a start time and end time near the bottom. Put that in for the first song and then click "file" then "export selection". Then select "mp3 files" from the pull-down menu and click "options". There you can change the bitrate to whatever you want. You'll then see a screen to choose the location of the file. Select that, fill in the correct song name in the space provided, and click "save". The rest is pretty simple. For the next song, put the start and end time of that in the spaces provided and repeat everything else.

I'm a bit disappointed by Bruce's vocals. He should've done better (I have never had any objections about his live singing until this tour).

Edit: The vocals get bit better further into the show though.

If you're referring to the Rock in Rio performance, maybe in a few small areas was he not in top form. Could have also had something to do with the editing/sound mix.

But when I saw them two weeks ago in both Kansas City and St. Louis, Bruce was an absolute beast on those vocals. Same can be said for the Chicago and Indianapolis shows from last summer. In my opinion, Bruce has not sounded any better than he does today.

Don't base an entire tour on just one performance. Maybe he was sick, tired, or any other number of things on Sunday night. Every member has their off days.
