Looking forward to it, FrenchMember!
I'm sure somebody will put videos from the first date up online fairly quickly, and send details to Setlist.fm

Some rumors speak about a little winter Tour in UK, like the 1988 Tour. I hope for you!
11 sold-out shows in 2011 and only one festival in 2013 for UK... That's very fucking strange.

Very strange indeed especially when you think Germany is getting 6 dates, Spain 3, etc. However to be fair they can't play everywhere and no matter how many dates or countries they play in someone will always feel left out. Although I am surprised there's no date in Ireland -saw them over in Dublin in 2010 and I don't think they've played there since?

Maybe there is some contractual agreement that no more British (or Irish) dates can be announced until Download is finished?

I believe they played in Belfast during 2011.
You know, tickets are not sold at 100% in Spain (Except Bilbao tonight), Germany and especially Eastern Europe. They are selling very slowly and these shows won't be sold-out, for sure.

Is that because the ones in Eastern Europe tend to be "Festivals" as opposed to an O2 type venue?

TBH that's why were flying to Paris/Berlin instead of going to "Download" - those big outdoor gigs are just too hassle at my age! ::)

For Bilbao, this isn't even a O2 arena like Bercy or the O2 arena of London. This is a very little concert hall with a 4000 persons capacity (I'm still wondering why they do a show here.).
For Madrid and Barcelona, these are festivals called "Sonisphere" like Amneville in France and Milan in Italy. And then, tickets are selling veryyyy slowly.
But except some shows, these aren't festival in Eastern Europe.

Oh ok thanks for the info, does seem odd to play such a small venue like Bilbao unless the boys wanted a relatively low key gig to start the tour off?

However it does also make the decision to have so few shows in the UK even stranger. I know Cardiff and certainly the first night if not the second at the O2 in London were sold out in 2011, guess most of the other venues on that tour did as well?

Guys, go & look at the UK tour dates (http://www.ironmaiden.com/tourdates.php) for tours not supporting a studio album. Maiden literally don't play the UK on "retro" tours; a festival or a date in London if you're lucky. So, no real surprise.

EDIT: Just had a look --six dates since 1999 I think (--inc. Donington next month). And only two of these non-festival gigs: Twickenham [2008] & Hammersmith [2005]. I might have missed some, but I don't think so.

Yeah, it seems you're right... However, that's still strange :D
By the way, I'm really eager to see the setlist of the European Tour!
Spoiler about the setlist:
Last year was the 20 years of Fear Of The dark and we had Afraid To Shoot Strangers.
In 2013, it's the 30 years of Piece Of Mind... Maybe Still Life?!

Could someone just say if there is a difference with last year's set:

"Yes, there is a difference"

or

"No, there is no difference"

Naturally use spoiler tags. Thanks in advance!

Question for anyone who has seem Maiden in a non English speaking country ... do they generally have shirts that are not all in English?
