Let's hope whichever artwork they choose it does the band's legacy justice.

I think it was more of a "what could be cool" kind of a mention, not an actual rumor with any kind of source.

We'll see. Maybe it's not a concept album per se, but I think there might very well be a bunch of songs with a strong thematic connection to each other anyway. Interesting!

It was actually a rumour. I posted it here, but it was someone on the fanclub forum who first mentioned it back in 2019 I think. The person who shared it is well connected to people in the killer crew, but that doesn't mean it's legit.

Probably just Maiden being cryptic.
Could be related to the video though. It is all very exciting.
Hope Steve produces a 20 minute epic. I think it would be apt if he wasn't outdone in the epic stakes by Bruce before the unmentionable...
Anyway the best Maiden epic ever is TROTAM...IMO.

I can't help but feel Steve has kind of a chip on his shoulder since Bruce came up with Empire of the Clouds. Since this might be their last album, I'm excited to see if we'll have a long ass epic from him as well.

Yeah, I'm excited but also scared :p But then again, I've been enjoying 'Arry's epics these last few albums, I think I'm on the minority of people who really like TRATB, just feel it's a little overly long, and that's exactly the problem. I do think he's still capable of creating something amazing though.
 
For those of us, including myself, hoping for another big, epic album at least 70-80 minutes, let's not be too bummed if Maiden go the complete opposite direction and put out a 45-50 minute long album. It will be great to hear new Maiden either way!

Totally agree. One of my favourite reunion songs has been WTWWB. Amazing song.
Really suited the mood of the book/film which I remember watching at the time.

You could be right but if I was putting money on it I reckon we're getting an album in excess of TBOS running time. The pattern is there in terms of increasing album length.
Let's hope for something special
