Yeah, but nothing at all like this. I'm just surprised so many people claiming to be fans can't spot that that's not Bruce Dickinson from a hundred yards.
To be fair I never once thought it was Dickinson and gave a tiny bit of hope it was a demo or something. That's what happens when you Google "new maiden album' everyday for maybe a year straight.

Could someone please translate this? The title of the video is "IRON MAIDEN BELSHAZZAR'S FEAST: RIDDLE SOLVED!"
He didn't say nothing new, just that probably the band posting the album's first singles everyday means that we will probably get the new single on July 19th.

Nothing different than ehat we are talking in the last couple of days. Just talking about the easter eggs on the covers and how we are now sure that the album will be announced in the next 10 days or so - not just mere speculation at this point.

They would miss a trick if there isn't a new beer to go with the album release
Im predicting 2 albums, kind of like GNR did with Use Your Illusion. Belzahars Feast Volume 1 - Heaven or Hell, and Volume 2 - Man or Beast.

I reckon that would then potentially give us names for 4 new beers - Trooper Heaven, Trooper Hell, Trooper Man and Trooper Beast...

I'm gonna guess one. He probably has a few ideas, a Dave-ish intro and maybe one or two riffs and then Steve does his best to glue it together.

His songs are often quite interesting IMO. The Man of Sorrows was quite proggy, and was probably the most unique track on TBOS. While the Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg is one of the most atmospheric and heaviest Maiden songs ever.
In my opinion, both of those songs are weak compared to the rest of the album. Simple riffs like the one in Benjamin Breeg is not what i would expect from Maiden after a 6 year wait. We need more guitar layers/progressive stuff which is the standard for maiden.

TROBB is one of my favourite all time Maiden songs. I love the haunting opening (reminds me of Pink Floyd’s Sorrow), the crushing heavy midpaced riffs and Dave’s melodic solo. Hope it is included in the setlist for their Belshazzar Feasts Around the World tour 2022.

I reckon Maiden are going to pull something special out of the hat this time. I think it will be at least a double album and possibly a triple.
I'm hoping for a triple album with around 15 songs. I can't even fathom the immensity of that though.
Not long until our patience is rewarded.

I wouldn’t be upset if they decided to release 2 - 3 albums spaced out over a year or so.

While more is always... more, I'd personally fancy for a bit more compact and coherent record of.. say, 9 songs. I think the overall quality of Maiden songs has been astonishingly high though, for even the somewhat filler-ish stuff has been relatively ok for the past two decades and so, but it'd be nice, for a change, to get something slightly more focused and not quite as meandering.

And this comes from a huge AMOLAD & TBOS fan.

I'm not expecting, or wanting, them to fill a record with 5 minute "rockers" poorly imitating Aces High or The Trooper or matching the grandeur of Seventh Son or Rime of the Ancient Mariner, but the coherence of their older records is something I'd really like to see here. Granted, I think TBOS is still a very good listen thorough, but for a change, I'd really like to see a record with less songs and more focus. A couple of mammoth songs, some great 7-8 minute starblindbenjaminbreegwhatnots they've been very good at for years now paced up by one or two "rockers" and something in the vein of Tears of a Clown. Gimme gimme...

Well, that's the wishful thinking for today. I believe the next record will be good. I hope they'll follow the darker and heavier road, as it really seems to work with them nowadays.

Can't wait for next week... :) UP THE IRONS!

Here's an interview (in Spanish) with Txus from Mägo de Oz?. 54 minutes into the interview there is a mention of their new album release date being delayed by a week as a result of Iron Maiden's new album being released on 3rd September.

Ohhhh man, I've always hated Mariscal as a journalist and his poor quality magazines. And what can I say about the blabbermouth of the guy of that band. I've never liked it at all. He must be the guy who talked with FabioMaiden telling him that the album would be released the 3rd September. He should be named as Spoilerman

Agreed - as much as I have enjoyed all the post-reunion albums there's always one or two tracks on each album I think could have been left off. Fallen Angel for BNW, Gates of Tomorrow and Age of Innocence on DoD, The Pilgrim on AMOLAD, The Alchemist on TFF and When the River Runs Deep and Man of Sorrows on BOS. All hugely enjoyable albums nonetheless!

Quality over quantity for me. Rather have 8 great songs than 14 half baked songs that sounds like the guys are just jamming ideas.
Would really appreciate if they put some more effort in editing and thinking the songs through. Length for the sake of length is not always the best way to go.
Also, sound wise, there are a couple of things that can be improved from the latest effort. BoS has some really great stuff on it, but the mixing is a bit crap IMO compared to say BNW or AMOLAD (yes, I think it sounds great).
If you take the drums from RiR, guitar and bass from AMOLAD and the vocal sound from BNW I’d be the happiest fan alive (one can wish?).
But, I’m just happy we get new material from our favorite band. My criticism is only because I care a lot, not disrespect towards the band or Kev.
