That would be such an easy thing to fix if they had they overdubbed stuff on that live album, so for me that's a proof that there are no overdubs of the guitars on this album either.

A few weeks ago I made some unflattering remarks about the latest version of King Crimson on a prog rock forum, and Robert Fripp copied and posted 4 of my posts on his Facebook page to hold me up to public ridicule. I was stunned. I never imagined people like him paid attention to the ramblings of forum peons.
 
I would be shocked if our forum hasn't gotten a few looks from people at IM Holdings, even just to see if we can be sued.
 
I'm sure Maiden's social media division is aware of this forum. I don't think I've ever been on a major forum for a band that wasn't watching it closely. It's good data for marketing.

I remember an interview from 2006, in which Dave and H were asked about the rumours that Jan's guitar wasn't plugged in. H said he hasn't heard of them and had no idea where they were coming from. Dave said that he reads online fora and chatrooms, and had a very low opinion on them as a rumour mill.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Maiden camp paid some attention to online communities back when the official website hosted its own public forum. But I think that nowadays, at least the guys in Maiden themselves probably won't care anymore. I could imagine that if you had a career as a public figure for over 40 years, at some point you just don't give a shit anymore about what people say, because you've heard it all before, from better people, thirty years ago.
 
Janick's hair is definitely real, but it's also certainly dyed. Steve's has to be dyed too.

To be honest, I am not sure Janick's hair is dyed. Bruce's hair is definitely real too, as is Nicko's (the latter's is dyed, as Steve's).

Davey was spotting a bald spot back in 1998, so he probably has had hair implants (much more successfully than Blaze, who was the poster boy for hair treatment company Optima Hair Specialists in the noughties). Adrian probably has had some hair implants too.

Bottom line is they still rock and nobody is wearing an embarrassing wig like Ritchie Blackmore (and others). :D
